The signature style of Borderlands animations also perfectly fit the Switch's graphical capabilities. That was two years ago, so it's not like Gearbox hasn't had plenty of time to make sure Borderlands 3 can run on the home/portable hybrid.
When Borderlands 3 first launched, Creative Director Paul Sage said "never say never" when quizzed on the idea of the title coming to Switch. So what's going on? Is 2K waiting to give Borderlands 3 on Switch an official announcement or has our fun been ruined before it's even started? Since then, the listing for a Switch port has been removed from the original source.
